Aviation Adapters for XLR-5 Headsets
The Aviation Adapter for XLR-5 Headsets converts the Single Barrel XLR-5 Plug (commonly called the "Airbus") into a different plug style. This adapter is a connector change only and does not change impedance for matching between low and high impedance systems.
Plug Style: Choose the type of plug(s) that connects to the aircraft panel.
If
you are unsure of what you need, we recommend you contact your Flight Operations, Maintenance, or A&P.
We cannot to tell you based on the aircraft type; it's like the color of your car, it varies
by what was ordered installed.
24-volt Aircraft Power: If the Plug Style selected supports Panel Power, the adapter will be wired to pass thru the power.
(Note:
Only XLR, LEMO, and NeutriCON connectors support Panel Power. Not all
aircraft with these connectors supply Panel Power.)
