How do I store my Harmony System safely?

How do I store my Harmony System safely?

Disconnecting the Harmony from your headphones is necessary whenever you plan on storing it. For most pilots, this means disconnecting the Harmony from your headphones after every flight.

To ensure that your headset operates as intended for years to come, there are two simple guidelines to follow;

1.) Make sure to disconnect the Harmony from your headphones carefully. Just grasp the plug housing by the our feather logo, and gently pull it straight out of the headphones.

2.) Be sure to never store your Headset while the Harmony is connected to the headphones. Doing so can cause damage to both the interface plug of the Harmony system, as well as the auxiliary jack of your Headphones.

If you own a Harmony Pro system, it is not necessary to unplug your Headset cable from your Aviation Application box. The Harmony system can be stored with this cable still in place.

The large custom system carrying cases available from our website have designated spaces to store both your Headphones and the Harmony system itself. Gently wrapping up your Harmony system allows it to be neatly tucked into the pocket on the left side of the case. The right side of the case is designed to comfortably fit any headphones that you may use with the Harmony system.
