Setup for Bose QuietComfort and QuietComfort 45 Headphones
The New Bose QuietComforts are here, and they share much of the same hardware and feature set as their predecessors, the Quiet Comfort 45 and the Quiet Comfort SE headphones. In fact, the setup on these three headphones are identical for the Harmony system!
There is a feature in the QC45 that automatically adjusts the incoming volume to a lower volume when an external device is plugged in. Following these steps when first setting up your headset will ensure you will always receive incoming transmissions.
1. Turn down the aircraft radio and intercom volume.
2. Turn the left and right audio volume on the Harmony Aviation Controller to max.
3. Plug in the UFlyMike, then power on the headphones.
4. On the back of the right ear cup, press the "+" button until you hear a double "beep" sound.
5. Adjust the radio and intercom volume to desired level.
Now, the QC45 will "remember" your volume setting and will not automatically adjust if you do the following simple trick:

Make sure the headphone is powered off before connecting/disconnecting the UFlyMike from the QC45. That's it
