What's happening with UFlyMike

11.04.11

Southwest Airlines has officially reversed their ban on the UFlyMike Headset:
The UFlyMike headset is now legal for use at Southwest Airlines!  You will need to make sure your headset has all of the required components and has been through our TSO process before using it.  Please review our TSO Process page for more information.  Thank you to all of our loyal customers for sticking with us and fighting for us in this matter.  Without your help and support, we never could have done it, THANK YOU!

11.05.10

UFlyMike Receives TSO Certification with the QC-15:
The FAA has issued another TSO Authorization for the UFlyMike Aviation Headset using the Bose QuietComfort 15 (QC-15) Headphones, and the Westone UM1 Earbuds. If you fly for an air carrier that requires use of TSO'd headsets, contact UFlyMike for details.

UFlyMike Adds UAL to Lawsuit Against ALPA:
If you are a UAL pilot and would like more info, please contact us, particularly if you would like the facts.

03.25.10

UFlyMike Files Lawsuit Against ALPA:
Because of ALPA's lack of responsiveness to retract an erroneous and misleading "Heads Up" to all UAL pilots, we were given no choice but to file a lawsuit against ALPA for negligence and libel. ALPA acknowledged they never contacted us or the FAA prior to issuing the "Heads Up." If you are a UAL pilot and would like more info, please contact us, particularly if you would like the facts.

09.03.09

QC-15:
Bose just introduced a new QC-series, the QC-15. All versions of the UFlyMike, past and present, are fully compatible with either the QC-2 or the new QC-15.
